About the course
Limit Omaha 8 or Better is a difficult game to reduce to simple starting-hand charts. With four cards, multiple suit configurations, high and low potential, and rapidly changing opponent ranges, hands that look similar can perform very differently. In this course, Chris uses solver-backed ranges from his Lab tools to build a practical framework for Omaha-8 preflop play. You’ll see how suitedness, connectivity, wheel potential, and card removal affect opening ranges, then examine how those hand values shift when facing a raise, a 3-bet, or multiple opponents. The course also explores an important distinction that charts alone can obscure: a hand can be profitable to play without benefiting from another raise. By comparing action EVs and looking at how different hand types perform as pots grow, you’ll develop a better sense of when to call, when to build the pot, and when a borderline mistake barely matters. The goal isn’t to memorize 16,000+ starting hands. It’s to develop better Omaha-8 intuition by learning the recurring patterns behind the solver’s decisions.
